S chair

Hand made lounge chair made from bent laminated wood, aluminium and canvas. Flexibility of laminated wood and canvas provides extreme comfort.

The chair was inspired by the geometric shape of a wave. The main wooden structure is made by bending and laminating wooden oak slats. The wooden structure is connected by two aluminum tubes, which represent the boom and the mast. Among them is an unfurled seat representing a sail. The great inspiration for the chair was the work of the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto.
